Update Cordless Dewalt XRP 18 Volt Drill Back from the Shop

I bought this Dewalt drill at a yard sale for $8. It needed a new chuck. I took it to a local service center and they put a new Dewalt chuck on it for $64. This quality tool should give me many years of service. I can now get rid of my cheap Skill drill.

Is there anyway to restore a dead battery pack on a cordless drill 18v Dewalt?
My cordless drill is a Dewalt, 18v XRP. it will no longer take a charge. is there a way to revive the pack? or do i need to spend $ 85. oo for a new battery pack?
