What is the difference between the dewalt tools xrp lit ion battery and the regular lit ion battery?
Just wondering if there is a difference in the two types of lithium ion batteries that dewalt offer with their tools.

what is the amp hour rating of dewalt's 18v xrp lithium ion battery?
Dewalt list doesn't AH rating for their new 18v XRP battery Li-ion. It makes me wonder why. They claim an industry high of 2000 recharge cycles. That does mean a lot if the AH is low.

I see what you mean. However looking at the adds, the NiCad battery 18V XRP is 2.4 AH and the Li-ion 18V XRP is advertised at having 40% longer run time so I would guess it is about 3.6 AH ....
